To the RSVP for my 10 year high school reunion. It is being held on the 30th October and will now be the official end date of OcSOBER for me. It starts at 4.30pm. It is at a venue that has been beautifully renovated. And there are about 20 RSVP’s yes plus partners and others not on facebook, I assume.
I wasn’t going to go. I had the perfect excuse. I had other plans. And then. Then they cancelled. And now I am going. With a great friend of mine who was batching it. So I have given Hubby the reprieve and said I will go stag too. So we will go together.
Now, I really want to do a long drawn out post about the whole thing but I’m not there yet. And figuring out what to wear is going to be a pain in my ass. Smart casual is about my least favourite dress level ever. Any tips? Just assume it will include high high heels ok. Because if going to your 10 year high school reunion isn’t a good enough reason for new, fabulous shoes, then I don’t know what is.
I’m a bit excited and a bit dreading it all at the same time. None {I repeat none} of my classmates that I am still in regular contact with, other than my date, are going. I wish they were. That would’ve been funner. Anyways. I’ll just keep an open mind and get ready to party my backside off. Worst case scenario I can always catch a cab the 5 minutes home. No real loss. Ha!
