Sunny, bright day!

I am having a great {!!!} day today. I have some money in the bank. My house had a little spruce up. The glitchy problem I was having on a sight I am building has been resolved. Facebook has some great links again. Work has still been full on and I am still kicking my favourite streakers out of their house but overall I feel great.
The sun is shining. I think I may have been suffering from S.A.D. I am soooo depressed and sick and horrid during winter. Even the sooky winter that we have here in the beautiful South East Queensland. It effects me.
Badly!
Does that happen to you? Are you effected by weather. I assume we all are, being human and all, but is there some kind of weather that just gets waaaaay under your skin and does your head in? My mother is cranky and short tempered in extreme heat. It literally fires her up. I was just wondering.

  1. Glad you're feeling better!I too HATE hot days, I can't think, can't form coherent sentences…it's just generally bad. Grey days make me serene and thoughtful, constantly gazing off into the middle distance to try and have a profound thought. And spring days make me jump for the joy of being alive!

  2. My brother gets horrible migraines whenever the season is changing. I just get depressed. Still I'm not too fond of Summer and I'm glad to be shot of it.

  3. Rain sends my children hyperactive, wind does to my mum what heat does to yours. Crazy isn't it?

  4. Love them all but hate any season going too long. Like, I'm a little over winter now but I couldn't live in Darwin like my Dad. :)

  5. I H.A.T.E the heat – hence why I want to move to a cold climate!!!That being said I'm loving the warm spring weather here today!!

  6. whoa!! I had been unwell for ages and I was having some blood tests done recently(well we won't get into that)and the Dr found I had a Vitamin D deficiency and now I need a little tablet each day and some sun (if you can find any!),yeah very strange cause i have always been tanned and able to get out in the sun often, but guess it happens. Probably half the reason I felt crabby most of the time LOL.My doc said that she had a patient that worked in the sun as a gardner who had a vitamin D deficiency because she never went out in the sun until she soaked herself in sunscreen first mmmmmmmm makes you wonder doesn't it!!

  7. Glad you're feeling better. I don't suffer a lot of emotions with the changing seasons, because I live in the south, so we rarely ever have a winter. LOL

  8. I can't take the heat. I go into meltdown and am so excited that Fall is close and Winter is just around the corner. Ahhh, cooler temps I feel better just thinking about them. Of course in February I will be looking forward to Spring/Summer and tired of all the cold! It's just those triple digits are too much!

  9. Extreme heat makes me crazy too. Really bitchy. I talk a lot about snowbound caves in Alaska during January-March.
