Well over at Hello Owl, Danielle (who is having a little vay-cay) sets a weekly challenge. And it has been like a million years since I played. Much like yesterday’s Polly Dolly challenge. I found myself with a large amount of time on my hands. 

So I thought I would take the nudge and show you a little about my town. Though technically this is a little distance out of my town now, this is where I grew up. For some of my upbringing my parents owned this little general store. We lived (and from memory about 4 of our pet birds died) in that house. From where I am taking this photo there is a park, sports oval and 25 metre swimming pool (do they even make those anymore..? Probably not). School was a few short blocks away and all my friends pretty much lived within walking distance. Simple.

I loved/love it here. And here is called Kandanga. FYI. That’s Kan-dang-ga. Cute huh.
