And Lori thought that she had the monopoly on random ramblings…

I was sitting, watching Hubby play Super Mario Brothers (yes, it has been allowed back on after months of banishment) and I said, to no one in particular, I really should post on the blog. Sigh or I could just go to bed. I  am in dire need of an early night. Uninspired would be an understatement. So I was like; What do I write about?
Well Tuesday I was called to the boss’s office. I was told to sit down. I was asked to push the door shut. Obviously not in that order. And then my boss uttered the words that would send my comfy little world into a spin. And right now it is a little too early to say anything more about it. But just so you won’t worry. I didn’t get sacked. Phew. That would have sucked. I have never been sacked.  My workload will literally double. We are still discussing the money. What do you think? Double the money too?! Ha.
Today it rained. not very interesting as far as that goes, but what was interesting was that for once, it always seemed to clear up when I needed to make the hike to the toilets. Also not very interesting as far as updates go but as some of you may remember often, on this walk to the loo, I have been rained on on sunny days. And today, a rainy day, there was none. Weird how that happens. Don’t you think?
And over at the Stockport Hotel, I read an article about correctly crediting images. And it made me feel bad. I can only assume it was not the lovely Megan’s intention, but it got me thinking of how many images I randomly credit back to we heart it or other such photo archivey type sites. Todays image is no exception. I think I need to investigate this tracking method for credits thing. Do you know how?
I saw both my siblings at lunch today. Gosh I love those pair. Weirdos. My brother was in a polo from his work and it turned out to be a ladies one. Either that or the buttons were on back to front. Either way, he rocked that thing. And my sister, on the worst RDO ever, bought her laptop to lunch and proceeded to transfer photos. She had a purpose. But still. Strange.
Oh and my mother told her boss to shove it up her jumper today. Her boss is my boss too. And her boss, who is also my boss, laughed at her. I would have told her off. If I was her boss. But maybe that is one of the things I like most about my boss, who is also my Mum’s boss. She knows better than to take an early morning upset to heart. Would you ever tell your boss to shove it? And expect to live to see another day?
So, that, was my random post. About stuff and nothing much at all. Whats new with you? Oh, and the Lori referred to in the post title? This is her, at Random Ramblings of a Stay at Home Mum

  1. I thought I was the original Queen of Random? As my apron says:"Screw Princess, I'm going for Queen!"

  2. If it means double the money, but half the time for blogging I will be sad, but understanding. As long as you send me some newly found money.

  3. Oh how I love random posts. And I love your family. They have spunk….

  4. Uh oh! I didn't want to make ANYONE feel bad! Maybe I should use different words…To find the original owner of a photo on we heart it, click the link above the photo. It will show you where the person who uploaded the pic got it from, but not necessarily the ORIGINAL source. That may require further investigation. Pics uploaded from someone's Flickr are the easiest. :)

  5. Oh sorry ML. It was a passing thing. Just mad me sad for the people who make those beautiful images if they aren't receiving the correct (and deserved) credit.MM – You are the queen of random. Lori is the queen of ramblings. lol.

  6. Hehe. Those were very random, I'm impressed ;) (Yep, only just saw this post, catching up on my overlogged Google Reader!). And you changed template again- me likes these blue square thingies!!
