I Want to Live HERE ~ Part 2 ~ Views Forever

And why wouldn’t you… Isn’t it beautiful. Located in the stunning Mary Valley just minutes from the township’s of Imbil and Kandanga this stunning home perches atop acres of prime farming land with views forever. Can’t you just picture sitting on the amazing veranda’s of this home, drink of choice in hand, surveying the scenery.

The native birds call to each other in surrounding natural bushland. Kangaroo’s drop by of an afternoon when the grass shoots are green and fresh. A cool breeze blows across your face no matter the time of year. But in storm season feel the whipping winds as they blow storms that light up and night all around you.

Ahhh, I can. You know why? This property was where I grew up. This parcal is approx 20 acres of the over 400 acres on which I was raised from the age of 5 until I was 15. The house is new, but those views, they are what I used to wake up to everyday.
That farm was my parent’s pride and joy. Their blood, sweat and tears. Many, many tears. And like so many farmers they just couldn’t go on. The love of farming can only carry you through so many years of heartbreak. Of famine and flood. Of highest highs and lowest lows. Did I mention though that they loved it? Buuuuttt enough of that for now, I could go on about the plight of farmers for days and days. But I won’t. I’ll just say…
Isn’t it beautiful.
