So I was on here (here being the laptop, cross legged on the couch) about to upload my award post. The one where I give out the two awards I received and hadn’t passed on yet. You know, one of those type posts. Because I’ve been a total slack ass of course. And I happened to spot my dashboard thingy on one of my masses of already open tabs. And I was at 99 posts.
Which makes this one, post number 100.
How in hell did that happen. It was just a few mere months ago (the end of November to be exact) that I started this blog. My first blog that ever had more than 1 post on it. In fact I guaranteed that on my first day by posting three times. It was my little way of saying that this blog would be different. And gosh golly it has been. So freaking different.
My life has changed a lot since I started blogging in some ways and not at all in other ways. I have a full time job now. I am still building websites but in my own time. I have the confidence to write and share myself online. I am more in love with my husband, family and town than I ever have been before. I am about 7kg heavier (believe me, i didn’t think that was humanly possible). I am not pregnant. I am still in my lovely house. I am not in good enough shape to complete my leg of the race the rattler event in August. I am still the director/secretary of a local community theatre group that doesn’t have anywhere near the volunteers it needs to run. I have cried. I have laughed. I have sleep in.
See, life goes on and on and on.
So I was wondering aloud what I should do to celebrate this milestone. I have attempted a giveaway before and didn’t receive a single entry. Not one. The stench of failure still tickles my nostril whenever I think about having a giveaway or competition or challenge or something. What would you like to do to celebrate with me? Because i cannot allow such an occasion go by without acknowledging it.
