It’s a family fun camping adventure. And the reason..? Well tomorrow is my brother’s 25th birthday. {Whoah. How’d that happen kiddo, you’re getting old.} My Brother has been talking about this camping adventure since the end of last year. It’s something that we as a family committed to doing more of this year. And to think, it is only February and we’ve gone once. Nice. Once more and we’ve doubled last years efforts. The picture above was from the last adventure. And we’re heading back to the same spot tonight.
So what do we do on this awesome camping adventures..? Well last time we swam. Brrrr. It was freezing. Played cricket and footy on the beach. Built two giant and very impressive sand castles. And lazed around chatting. It’s perfect. Than the sun goes down and we cook and eat and drink and laugh and sing and tell stories and toast marshmallows. In fact, here is a photo of the birthday boy from the last trip. Marshmallow stick in hand.
Hahaha. Now we are about to see if little brother still reads my blog or if it was a passing phase for him. Because seriously. He will probably not be impressed that the photo of him with marshmallow on his face out for the entire world to see. Me however. I’m super impressed. Plus I don’t have to worry about it until at least Sunday night when we all get back into service areas.

Before I left I wanted to pop on here and make you a promise. A promise that I will return with a bunch of fab photos that really showcase my beautiful home turf. Now keep your fingers crossed for some sunshine for us as it has been raining here virtually for the whole of 2010.
