Festive Season Money Crisis!
Yep. It’s hit a little early this year. MOSTLY because I delayed the purchasing of gifts so long that now I am paying rush delivery left, right and center (that’s a funny saying that one… just got thats like EVERYWHERE… it’s nice though to know I can still learn something in the midst of a… Festive Season Money Crisis!). I didn’t save a single cent this year towards Christmas and now there is one pay to go and I can see it’s whipping out of here faster than gosh knows what. Do any of you out there in internet world do this same dance every year?
So I’m confronted by a hideous lack of planning, an abysmal budget and zero creativity at the moment that I want to cry. I am definitely not being very great about it. I just really, really want blame it all on somebody else. But knowing myself as I know myself I know I can’t… Not in the whole being responsible for my life thing. (Argh… yuck!)
So I take a deep breath (sucking up the urge to throw my hands in the air and call the whole thing off). ) I’m going to have to lean a little more in home made with love department this year. So it’ll be a trip to the supermarket to stock up on baking supplies to bake up a storm for my nearest and dearest.
I am not a great baker. FYI. So watch this space. Updates of possible impending tragedy to follow. There you go, you heard it here first.
