Lately I’ve been considering giving my house a makeover as I feel like it’s tired, stale and more than a little dull. I feel a little bad for having these feelings as The Church (as it is affectionately named for it’s roof line) isn’t even 2 years old and was built to Hubby and my EXACT specifications. I wonder if I’m being disloyal and flighty? I begin to seriously doubt my ability to commit to anything long term.
Wait a minute, I doubt this is the case as Hubby has been around now for almost 7 years… Anyway, back to topic.
I’m thinking that all it needs is an extensive spring clean spruce up, a dumping of the accumulation that happens in a house that has three times as many cupboards as occupants, the purchase of some furniture and a can or two of paint. My brother and his wife suggested we should probably get around to some gardens too, but THAT is another days challenge.
Settled on a plan of attack, as vague as it was, I went in search of answers in the one place that I know will always come through for me… Google. So I made you all a collage of some of my favourite ideas and inspirations.
So what do you think? Can you see yourself living in that very funky black and white kitchen or crashing out in that cozy, oh so plush looking bed? So do you know, is it hard to install/build a fireplace as a DIY job… Haha, kidding! :oP
