I can almost here the mouse buttons clicking as people skip past this blog. You know it, I know it, Everyone knows it… Being told what to do is never popular with human beings; just watch the unwillingness of a young child and you’ll see.
But I have always been open to and even sought out the advice and guidance of people much wiser, smarter or older than me. You see, I have a tendency towards the path MOST traveled, I want to get where I’m going as quickly as possible. I don’t want to explore… I am not one to reinvent the wheel.
So there, that’s the first PG pearl… Don’t reinvent the wheel. Because if you don’t waste time going over the same things, ideas, mistakes that someone else has you have the opportunity to move forward past what you ever thought was possible (like an entire motorised vehicle!). Take what is know and build on that. If it’s too restrictive sort the fact from the fiction and build on that!
