This edition of where to buy is for something essential, but seemingly difficult to buy. It wasn’t that long ago that it was virtually impossible to get yourself a cute graph/printed t-shirt that wasn’t just a men’s polo passing off as plus size wear. Which is ridiculous because nothing says I kind of hate my body and would like to hide it better than an ill fitting men’s tee. Most of the time, you know. So here are some brands doing cool things with t-shirts. There are more out there, but I just chose three. Here they are;
Mink Denim.
This brand, available through MYER make some awesome t-shirts. The range is a little low online at the moment, I blame the change of season, but they are still worth a look. Cute graphic tee’s, great colours and flattering cuts and fits. For a while MYER was the only place to go, nearby, that sold decent fashionable stuff for plus size women. Mink denim caters mostly for the young and hip amongst us. I’ve seen other’s with owl prints, birds, butterflies. All sorts of things. Always worth a look and now available online at MYER.

Fat Mandi.
Gah! The range by Aussie cool chick Rebel Wilson this range is small but packs a bit of a punch. I mean, cupcakes and doughnuts on your boobs, if that doesn’t scream look at me, I don’t know what does! Haha. As you can imagine anything that Rebel puts her name to is young and fresh and funky. These tee’s are just that. Don’t go over to big cartel looking for a massive selection, this is it. I hope she adds more soon though. Maybe that Fat Amy for President one? That’d be cool.

Tiny Hobo for Custom Plus.
I was sent a t-shirt by custom plus after I, errr awkward, asked for one to review. I included it in an outfit post and it did really well for outgoing clicks because you guys, like me, wanted something cute and funky and the Tiny Hobo Make Coffee Not War t-shirt was just that. I love it and it shows. The brands involved shared the image on their social media and I still get the occasional click through from those shares. They are a comfortable tee with a cute {and so far long wearing after 20+ wears} print. What’s not to love. And if size positive messages are your thing, there are lots of curvy cartoon cuties to be found there. The plus size cat woman is my current new favourite.

Could you please do a ” where to buy plus size print pants/jeans”? xx
No problem. I’ll add it to the list. 🙂
Oh man, I need that cupcake shirt!!
Uh huh. SO COOL.
Might be good to point out the size ranges of the t-shirts. The Myer shirts only go up to 20, the Rebel Wilson shirts only 18. Glad you included the Tiny Hobo range, they go up to 4x. I like the Catwoman one too, and there’s a Miss Piggy one floating around as well. I think there’s an untapped market of geek/gamer/fangirl shirts for plus sizes. 🙂
I will do my best Bek, just a mention of the sizes available, is that the easiest way? Let me know if you have any suggestions other than that. I’m happy to take them on board. Custom Plus and Tiny Hobo are THE BEST. Love their stuff and so great to see such an inclusive size chart.
Yeah I always find a mention of the size range when providing links to stuff really helpful, then I know whether to get excited or not. 😉 But that’s up to you- it’s your blog. 🙂
No problem. I think you are right, especially when it’s a shopping guide, of sorts. Thanks for the tip.
The Mink ones at Myer go up to a size 24 – I can wear them quite comfortably as a size 22.
I fell in love with that blue Mink Denim tee in Myer at Xmas time. Still thinking about that line 2 months later!
And love the Fat Mandy tees. So cute!
They are super cute! Love them all.
