My inbox was alive with the sound of spring/summer plus size fashion earlier last month. It was time and the brands were ready for us with some killer collections, lots of colour and gorgeous fabric. I was REALLY excited to see the last of the brands go public with their looks last week so I could do a round-up for you all. It’s an exciting time for the plus size customer in Australia with a lot of major retailers stepping up their game and the little guys doing what they do best and bringing ALL THE AWESOME.
Today I’m sharing three of the brands that I have tended to use as my go to suppliers for my steal her style post {the shopping board} and for my personal shopping purchases. I need less and less to keep my wardrobe ticking over {even with the outfit heavy posting schedule}. I have a really good base and thanks to brands I work with my wardrobe gets a new season boost no and again. But that doesn’t mean I don’t put my own money on the line too. I do. But the heavy lifting has been done in my wardrobe so it doesn’t take much.
Buuuuuut when not one but THREE amazing lookbooks dropped into my lap I knew it was time to cash in my ad account and prepare the budget for a wee bit of a spend up. Given my wish list is a mile long it’s a good thing it’s been a while since I cashed out. Phew. I’m ready, I have my list and since spring/summer is something we get a lot of around here I’m okay with investing in some of these pieces. So if like me you are READY and raring to go the round-up is below. Happy browsing ladies. You’re welcome.
Spring/Summer Plus Size Fashion
17 SUNDAYS
17 Sundays had their Spring/Summer in store earlier in the year {you know, I’ve been wearing it. All. Pretty much}. What they have coming now is their RESORT range. A range of fun and flirty pieces to take you from the beach to the pool to the bar. The range loudly calls to my beach lover self and I was honoured to have the stripe t-shirt dress named after me {middle row, left image}. Exciting! There are a number of items on my wish list and I’m looking forward to working more with the proudly Australian brand in the coming months. Release in early November items will be priced
HARLOW AUSTRALIA
Harlow’s spring/summer range has been in their online store for a little while and it’s exciting to see it. Such beautiful prints and easy to wear designs. There’s one dress I have my eye on. One the brand have been kind enough to send my way {unrelated directly to this post} and I cannot WAIT for it to arrive {middle frame! Squee}. But for me the other show stoppers are the sheer floral maxi dress, the wrap dresses {hello red, roar!} and the printed pants. Even if Queensland has basically shut up shop when it come to pants. Look to this range for sexy, feminine pieces that are bold, look here. Prices ranges from $69.95 to $189.95 and most of the new season items are online now.
HOPE & HARVEST
The team at Hope & Harvest have EXPLODED their range for the coming Spring/Summer season. Lots more choice, lots of colours and even a print or two. I received this sneak peek lookbook when I was camping early last month and used the last of my phone data plan to download it. This is a WOW range with something for everyone in terms of beautiful pieces made to be a wardrobe stand out from now long into the future. Prices range from $59 to $249. Most items are available now.

Hi Ladies.
Alexandra, Once you buy one of our items you will know what size suits you best.
I personally have the Safari Dress and I have a Large. I am pretty much a 20-22
They are a great dress as you can wear them fitted through the bust or slouchy so you
can’t really go wrong. With this style we say the sizing is pretty much like this
14= Small, 16-18= Medium, 20-22= Large, 24-26=X Large.
Don’t forget to sign up to our VIP program through our website to receive 20% off all of your full price purchases through our online store.
If you purchase your dress and you aren’t happy with the size, you can just return it for a refund or exchange.
This particular dress is super long as well for those of us who are really tall, so it has been designed to keep its look if you get it shortened at your friendly alterations people.
You can always email us at mail@hopeandharvest.com for any questions xox H&H HQ
Thanks so much ladies! I appreciate you taking the time to answer Alexandria’s question. And YAY for the VIP program. I’ll have to make sure I’m signed up.
Any time lovely x

Well thank you muchly. I will do.
I need Hope and Harvest’s Safari dress! In your experience, if I’m in between sizes in their size chart, should I size up or down?
I love finding out about Australian labels, thanks!
It’s amazing, right!? Makes me think of that woman in the God’s Must Be Crazy with her billowing linen version. I love that woman. Anyway. Right. Size wise. In the past I’ve sent my measurements to the ladies and they work off those so it’s hard for me to say. Are you okay if I pass on your email address to the ladies to contact you about sizing? I absolutely won’t until you say otherwise.
Me too! I keep digging and hoping to unearth more gold like this! LOVE>
Argh?!?! There is SOOOOOO much stuff I want!!!!
Soooooo much stuff! I saw the books and I was like, uh oh, Liv’s poor credit card. Haha. JOKES. But I’m right, right? 😉
So many amazing items on these collections!!! I´d have a really hard time choosing only a few items from them. Luckly I know of someone releasing a Budget Fashionista Workbook soon 😉
SO MANY. Me too. Thank goodness I am given the opportunity to review a piece here and there. It means the list of ones I have to buy is slightly shorter than it was before. Haha.
HA! Lucky indeed.
17 Sundays just keep getting better and better! I’ve been buying from them for about 2 years and I’m just so impressed with what they keep putting out. Goodbye monies!
I couldn’t agree more Kate. The ladies have really settled into their groove and yet continue to take big strides. not an easy feat in the current retail climate. Two thumbs up from me. I love their stuff. It fits me like a glove.
