In the summer, I like light, and I loose. Slouchy is the order of the day. Or evening as the case was with this outfit. Nothing too restrictive, nothing that feels like it’s smothering you. The lighter, the looser, the slouchier, the better. I think I might have mentioned that in my post about summer dressing… So this is a demonstration.

To keep it simple, I reach for the essentials. I added a crisp white and blue stripes, some shredded jeans and casual tan sandals. This summer I’m trying to keep things a little less black. As you know. Light tones and colours. It’s an exercise in summer chic. Stripes are such a basic for me. Dani reminded me of that this week. Stripes are my thing. Team stripes.
