Look back on where you’ve come who you were all those days ago. If you’ve been doing the challenges {and SO many of you have, thanks for joining in and letting me know} I’m sure you’ll be seeing the difference by now. Have you managed to do something you never thought you would? Have you got a new job or made a friend? We’d love to hear about it, so leave a comment below.
Think about the quiz questions from Day 2. How do you feel at work?
With friends?
In general?
I’ve told you stories from my life, about the difference some semblance of confidence meant to my ability to speak in public, since then I’ve spoken in front of groups varying in size between 10 and 150 people. I spoke about conferences and having a panic attack, now I attend at least two a year without a worry. I attend events on my home, enjoy eating out and movies with myself and chat with strangers any chance I get.
It’s important to look back sometimes to see how far you’ve come. A bit like weight loss photos you just don’t see it when you’re looking at yourself in the mirror day after day. It sneaks up on you. So take the time to review the challenges so far, do some you may have missed, then share with us what it is you’ve got out of the series so far.
I’m so proud of you all.
Thanks for joining in.
Only two days to go now! WOW.
Daily Challenge: What have you learnt about yourself since Day 1? What was your favourite challenge so far?
Hi! I’m Suger; Chief Blogger at Suger Coat It. Blogging since 1901; love a casual ootd, taking photos + writing about things that irk or inspire me. I love wine and cheese, long days at the beach and spending time with my family. I make stuff for the internet; photos, create content, write copy and devise social media plans for personal brands, small businesses and bloggers. You know, living the sweet life.
I think you’re right about looking back. You don’t really see it, a bit like you don’t notice your kids growing, except some days you think ‘Yeah they’ve (I’ve) grown’ but even on those days you don’t realise just how much till you look back.
I haven’t been able to read one of these posts for a few days now because I’ve been slipping back majorly, but even with having slipped back I am miles ahead of where I’ve been at my worst, so I guess it’s ok somethimes to backtrack a little. Maybe then when I move ahead it will be with stronger foundations having had to do the trek twice.
Great to see your gorgeous self back. The best part is these posts will always be here when you need them. Hope you’re doing ok now. xo
