I thought t-shirt week would be easy. Simple. Then I went to the beach for the weekend, wore my white shirt and forgot about getting photos all together. Whoops! So with my white t-shirt soaking out the campfire smell my whole plan for a post went out the window. It wasn’t until last night as I was pulling on some clothes to grab some dinner with Hubby that I spotted this zebra tee and went for it.
I picked up this skirt in a Facebook sale a little while ago. I wasn’t going to mention it but it was totally from Liv. Yes! I know, again. What can I say, I’m a sucker for a sale and she is all kinds of cool. Even when I forgot for well over a month now to pay her. Facepalm. Bad friend. Annnnyway. The thing is that when it comes to me and 17 Sundays we fit like a glove. Liv has troubles sometimes because she has a narrow waist and wider hips. Apparently my straight as an arrow build is a good thing with the 17 stuff. Winning!
But that was a little bit of a diversion, right? It’s TEE WEEK Suger!
So about the tee. To be honest I’m not overly impressed with it. It’s a really light weight fabric. That’s nice in this ridiculously hot weather we are having but horrible for wrinkles. And bra choices. And general cheapness looking. BUT like always you get what you paid for and this is a cheap and cheerful addition to the wardrobe. I originally purchased it to wear with my Harlow Moto Pants to the Problogger conference but it didn’t arrive in time.
While this week’s shirt is a little hit and miss in general I love printed t-shirts. My sister’s partner is always asking what the deal is with me and t-shirts. It’s okay, he’s allowed too, we’re like besties. He especially hates the GEEK CHIC one and the ASOS Curve Geek sweater. He claims I wear them all the time. Which I probably do.
But the short version is, they’re fun and I like them. Which is all the reason I need.
