Aussie Curves military week is something I was looking forward to because I had a plan. Then of course I got busy and find myself mid-week and only now getting my post scheduled. Such is life, right? The outfit I’d planned is something I’ve worn a hundred billion times since first receiving the items in it {two of which are gifted FYI, details below}. Surprisingly really given that the traditional colours of the army aren’t something I wear a lot of. Greens, browns and khaki aren’t really my thing.
The jacket and t-shirt for some reason have been the exception to this rule. Both have been in high rotation and both have been worn casually and at the office. Same goes for the pencil skirt and boots, but you guys knew that already, right? This outfit is the reason I just couldn’t go past an army inspired take on military. Add a Katniss braid and stick a fork in me, I’m done.
I also want to mention the cute mural wall behind me. Hubby mentioned that it would probably work well with my outfit and he was so right. The colours in it are beautiful and so complimentary and the early evening light just filtered on in being awesome. I love nothing more than adding a bit of saturation to an image, resize it and plonk it on the blog. Low fuss outfit blogging, I wanted it, here it is.

Do you wear army green much?

Thank you. Me too. Lots of takes on the theme. And he is, all those years as a courier driver around town are certainly paying off, he knows ALL the spots.
