Ahhhh weekends, how I love thee. Even though I work part-time in my day job and from home the remainder of the time on this blog, I still love weekends like a school kid loves holidays. I used to think it was because I didn’t want to be where I was during the week, but it’s more than that. There’s a vibe to weekends that I love. The party possibilities and the laid back pace of everything. Even working Saturday’s is cruisier than normal days.
For me that means on the weekend I have a little fun with what I wear. I mix patterns and prints, I play with hemlines and tucking in and all that sort of thing. This outfit was one of those days. A beautiful Sunday afternoon. Crisp after a hot day. Windy {as always lately when I want photos}. Perfection. Hubby had been bribed with a $1 choc-top cone {sold out of blue frozen cokes apparently} and we stopped to grab these photos on the way home.
Is it just me or can you SEE the blissed out Sunday afternoon face in these photos. I think it’s there. You be the judge.
This weekend I’m heading through to the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane to host some blogger and blog fan get together. We’ll be at Grill’d on the Sunshine Coast at 12pm on Saturday 9th and then dinner in Bulimba at 7pm. All the information is on the events tab on the Suger Coat It Facebook page.
