I sort of felt like a kid in the candy store when it came to selecting an outfit for this event. I KNEW the people in attendance would love fashion and style as much as I do. I knew I had options from the folks at 17 Sundays who pretty much gave me from reign of their AW14 collection to build an outfit from. And lastly I knew I wanted to look great to meet all the fabulous women attending. Derrrr.

So what did I decide on?

THIS.

I loved it actually. The skirt {that I borrowed from Mel} is something that I’ve always loved the look of but never really wear. I feel like with my large shoulders and boobs make it all wonky and out of proportion. But with the tucking of the sized down t-shirt into the shirt, the narrowness of the jacket {and lightweight thanks that it was a top, thank goodness} it works. People talked all day about this top worn as a jacket. It was an eye catcher, that’s for sure. And all together, just what I was looking for.

Though I did have to ditch my ankle boots or die of heat exhaustion. Haha.
