I’ve been looking for easy to wear summer dresses for a while now. AGES in fact. I didn’t want anything fussy or annoying. I just wanted to be able to throw the dress on and go no matter where I was headed. No mess, no fuss and ABSOLUTELY no thinking. But it proved a difficult task indeed {super difficult in fact} to find something that wasn’t ALL black that fit the bill. Wheeeen will people stop trying to make me wear black in summer? Wheeeen?

Last week I popped into the City Chic outlet with Mel and tried on ALL THE THINGS. It was great to be able to try things on, work out sizes and what I like on and what just didn’t work. Ordering online can be like Russian roulette sometimes. You spend money and it just doesn’t pay off, no matter how easy the returns process it’s disappointing.

But we try. It’s a challenge, right?

Anywaaaay, this post is about celebrating that thanks to City Chic’s outlet {I got two of these, one in an XL which fits better but there was only a L in this print}, thanks to the generosity of 17 Sundays and an item or two from ASOS I’m just about set. Okay, given that Saturday is March, I’m all set for NEXT year. Or the warm autumn days that we have in sunny Queensland. That’s okay. Plenty of wearing will be done. Heaps.
