This purple summer smoothie is a must try and not just because I am a smoothie superstar, which I am. It’s delicious, refreshing, basically a meal in a cup and did I mention delicious? Grab your blenders, it’s time to make this refreshing, tangy, icy cold purple smoothie. Can’t argue with that! I’ve listed the ingredients I used to make this one, rather large glass. If you want to bulk up the nutrition in this one to use it as a breakfast or lunch on the go, add a scoop or two of your favourite vanilla protein powder. Summer has been a stinker around here already. Seriously, from day one it’s like it was trying to melt me into a puddle on my patio floor. Dying. So in an effort to make breakfast something I could stomach, I decided to give smoothie bowls a try. I’m not sure exactly what the difference is between a smoothie and an acai bowl, but well.
