Here we are again Suger’s with another monthly review post. This time though I have two Herbal Essences prize packs for YOU to win. Yay! As always, I was sent most of these products for editorial consideration. This is not a sponsored post, products are marked with the method of acquisition. Formalities out of the way, let’s go!

Airfloss – Philips {gifted}

Now this products has had mixed reviews in the Suger and sister of Suger households. With four adults in total we are split one LOVE, two likes and one what the heck, no way. And I’ll tell you now Hubby is the one that is in love with it. For me, I like it, it makes my mouth feel fresher and cleaner and that’s what it’s meant to do. BUT I do SO love getting into between my teeth with some floss and really going to town. It’s a sickness. I know. All in all the noise it makes can be a tad annoying but it works and it works beautifully. If flossing is a bit of a blah thing for you, maybe try this one. Let me know if you’d like to see a video of Hubby using the AirFloss and I’ll post one. Promise.

SugarBomb Lip Gloss – Benefit {gifted}

Now this lip gloss and I are besties now, in case you were wondering. So don’t go saying anything about me and my bestie. It’s a soft nude with a dash of pink and shimmer that feels like you’ve applied a posh lip gloss and looks like a nude lippie when it’s on and feels like heaven. I wear it most days and it’s been conditioning my lips keeping them sleek and supple all winter so far. I was just thinking, I should totally write copy for lipstick companies. I’ve got all the key words down… Hmmm, career change! Short version. You’ll love it. I love it. It’s the best. I just wish they’d gotten the spelling correct.

Nail Polish – Various  Colours – Rimmel

When I was in Target the other day, lining up, waiting to check out, I heard this little voice say to me, look up. Looooook up. So I did. Heck, I’m not going to ignore THAT little voice, maybe something is about to drop on my head or something. It turns out that I was in no imminent danger but that I was in front of an expansive display of new season nail polish colours from Rimmel. I picked up Limealicious, Lively Lavender and Sky High {left to right, image above} and they have been in rotation ever since. I find they wear well {I apply two coats at least and a clear top coat} and the colours rich a bright. Plus they cost under $10. What’s not to love about that.

Scarlet Words {Blog Sponsor}

Because she was going to be out on her lonesome this month {and probably next as I have axed the sponsors post format} I decided to include the gorgeous blog sponsor Scarlet Words in this post. You see lately this photographer, artist and all time extraordinary lady has had some posts you just have to check out. Seriously. There was this one just yesterday about building a fort for her partner’s birthday. The idea wonderful, the photos SO amazing. Or this one about blogs and sponsored posts where the comments section is almost as good as the post itself. Conversation people. Have it. This blog people. Check it out.

Tousle Me Softly – Herbal Essences {gifted}

For me there is nothing I like more at the moment for my hair {my messy, super long and unruly hair} then the Tousle Me Softly range from Herbal Essences. I was sent the pack show above to review. While all the products are good. You know I said yes because I’ve often used Herbal Essences shampoos and conditioners because I was lured in by colourful packaging and the promise of fruity, tropical smells. Rightly so. Mostly I wanted to try the tousle range. And can I just tell you, my messy, ombre hair has never looked so good. Messy waves is the aim. Messy waves is what it delivers. Heck yes! Here’s proof from THE FIRST week they arrived. Ready?

So now, who wants to WIN an Herbal Essences prize pack?

I have TWO to give away, enter now;

    I would love to try the hairspray from Herbal Essences. I use hairspray a lot! (I even use it to set my makeup before a big night out). Im always on the look out for a new brand of hairspray that holds my well, smells nice and isn’t too sticky or hard to wash out! 🙂 xx

    • The hairspray is GOOD. Though a bit sticky until it sets, but I can’t imagine it would do what it does without it. Not a scientist, obviously. 😛 Haha.

      Good luck!!

  • Brittonie

    I would love to try the Color Me Happy Shampoo and Conditioner from Herbal Essences. I’m not too big on mousses or gels or hairsprays, unless my hair is pulled back nice and tight! I would love a shampoo that actually works, since this is my first time dying my whole head a different color, I want to keep my color as long as possible!

    This looks like it’s doing wonders to your hair! Shiiiiiny!

    • Thanks Britt. Soooo shiny. 😉

      And you coloured your HAIR!!? What the heck. When did that happen? What colour? Tell me more!

  • Brittonie

    I forgot to say, the air flosser seems very interesting too! I’m really wondering how it works, but I doubt I could give up the old method, there is something satisfying about removing all that gunk! -hides in shame-

    • Haha. Jinx! You point the aimer thing between your teeth and it squirts water or mouth wash between the teeth. It’s pretty cool. Hubby uses it as a weapon sometimes though, I’m surprised I’m not blind. 😉

  • Jeanie

    You had me at fruity smells. Delicious smelling, yes please!

    • Jeanie

      I would love to try the Body Envy from Herbal Essences. =)

    • I know, right? Me too. That gets me every single time.

  • Cie @ Pathetic to Pinup

    I would Love to try the hairspray from herbal Essence, Anything to give me bigger hair. Mine is super fine and limp and BLAH!

    I’m curious too about how the air flosser works….I have the image of an air powered nail gun in my head!

    • Good luck Cie.

      Hmmm, that’s not too far off. HA. Jokes. It’s more like those air freshener things that squirt scent {and make that whoosh noise} but it squirts water or mouthwash between the teeth to clear stuff out. Should I do the video?

  • Sarah

    I’d love to try the Colour Me Happy shampoo and conditioner from Herbal Essence.

  • Oh look, that’s my face! Right there on your blog!

    Thank you for the kind words, pretty lady xxx

    • Yes indeedy. You are SO welcome. You know I love your blog. So beautiful. Sorry your image ended up compressed or resized or something. I’ve squished your gorgeous photos. I tried to fix it but it didn’t work out.

  • I would love to try the Herbal Essence tousle me softly shampoo and conditioner and mousse for easy tousling

  • river

    Bingo!! The Sonicare Airfloss thing! I’ve been meaning to get one of these and I’ve finally saved enough money. Regular flossing is hard for me, the spaces between my teeth are rough with edges of old fillings and floss just shreds and gets stuck. So when I saw an ad for one of these, I started saving.

    • Oooo, tell me how you go. Hubby raves about it. For probably a similar reason, he runs through floss like no ones business.

  • Merryl

    I would love to try the Long Term Relationship leave-in split end protector for long hair from Herbal Essences. My waist length hair is dry and damaged and blowdrying it every day is definitely not good for it. I’d love to find a protector that works.
