Today we visited Kin Kin, Pomona, Boreen Point and a few roads in between. The sky was the bluest of blue. The weather was all kinds of fabulous. GOSH. I love living here. Hubby and I loaded ourselves into the CRZ with less than a quarter of a tank of fuel our Hybrid took us all over the place today. Have I mentioned lately how much I adore that car? I haven’t? Well I do! It was lovely to have a phone free {basically} day with Hubby. Sipping coffee, walking hand in hand and making out in public parks.

We’re gross like that!

We took the camera with us. Lately I’ve been getting more and more annoyed with it. I feel like it takes nothing but blurry, horrific pics. So I reset the settings and gave it another shot. And today, she performed like no one’s business. None of these photos are edited. I just resized them and uploaded them. The J1 always was a high performer in natural light. Check it out. Memories captured, thank you VERY much.

Not a bad start, not a bad start at all!

Sounds like the perfect way to spend a day to me! Great that you took some snaps. I have resorted to lugging my camera around everywhere now as I would find I’m kicking myself for not having it with me when I need it most (ie coming across beautiful sights like these). Gorgeous shots Mel. xo

    • Thank you! It was such a fab day. So cruising and fun. Look forward to doing it again sometimes soon.

  • I’ve been to Kin Kin! In 2004 I went to a health retreat there. Its such a pretty place. As part of the program I even climbed the mountain nearby – ok so maybe only half way, but even that was a huge achievement! 😛

    • Oooo! I’ve never attempted that mountain. And the idea that people run up and down it does my head in a little. Haha.
