Leading into spring there is plenty of colour on show out there. From pastels to neons and everything in between. For years I’ve been in black, a side effect of a mostly corporate, country town wardrobe. But bit by bit I’ve added loads and loads of colour. I just can’t help myself. I FEEL colourful at the moment. I’m sure there’s something to look into there. A realisation to be had. But for now, it’s all about wearing as many colours as possible. Blazers, leggings, cardigans, dresses and shoes. Especially the shoes.

I love that line in the Devil Wears Prada where she says floral, for spring, how original. I laugh out loud, literally. Floral for spring HAVE been around for a while. Of course, but that’s just because they go together like peas and carrots right? {movie quote day, apparently} I’ve never really gotten into floral either. But these little babies are sort of neon and we ALL know how much I am loving neon this season. This dress is a little big for me actually, so I’m going to be selling it. Let me know if you’d be interested.

Speaking of shoes, aren’t these ones from BigW just amazing. A covered platform heel in the brightest blue. My favourite colour in fact. These are actually the shoes Hubby and I had a disagreement about a week or so ago. He said I should wear my cream and cork wedges with this outfit, I wanted to wear the blue. I won, of course, they are MY feet after all. If he wants to wear the cream wedges he can knock himself out. Haha. All in all the aim was to wear as much colour as possible. And I’m pretty sure cream is a shade, not a colour.
